Designed for CSIS alumni + their collaborators, Impact+ House will bring together small teams working to integrate social innovation within their organizations.

Impact+ House is a four-day immersive program at a 600 acre estate in the rolling green hills of central Vermont, where small teams gain the resources, training and community support they need to advance their organization’s impact.

Alumni from any CSIS program (residential or online) are eligible to apply with 1-4 members of their team. Our global network is a fast-growing community of remarkable thinkers and doers, working in social impact across diverse sectors; we’re thrilled to offer an opportunity to open the door for colleagues of current alumni.

Teams explore purpose and vision, connect with a community of changemakers, and home in on the challenges standing in the way of their maximum impact.

Our surrounding environment can lift us from the ordinary and serve as a conduit for creativity and connection; this is why we picked Galusha Hill Farm & Lodge in central Vermont to host the 2018 Impact+ House.

Situated on a majestic 600-acre parcel complete with an organic farm, a lake for water sports, miles of trails for hiking and running, and surrounded by an additional 1000 acres of conserved land, Galusha is an inspirational setting to unplug from the everyday hustle-and-bustle, get focused, and move forward with intention. CSIS designed Impact+ House for CSIS alumni + their teams in a social impact venture, organization, or program. Over four days, teams will gain access to the tools, training, and connections they need to effectively deepen their impact. We are creating a culture where deep, authentic connection is at the heart of the experience. You’ll leave Vermont as part of a dynamic network of teams driving change all around the world.

— You or your teammate has participated in a CSIS program (residential Impact House, or Executive program);

 — You have a clear idea of the needs of your customers / beneficiaries, have a working pilot, and want to scale your ideas;

Our experience is immersive — designed in a way that encourages peer learning, perspective shifts, and intentionality — to encourage social impact teams to develop stronger business models and strategies.

Application Timeline

We encourage teams to apply as soon as possible. Submissions due by Thursday, May 10th. Rolling admissions starting May 15th. Registration and program deposit starting May 31st.

Program Costs

The program is $1950 per person for teams of 2, and $1750 per person for teams of 3+. Payment plans and need-based financial aid are available on a limited basis.
